My journey into audiobook narration began when I read some of my essays aloud in a writing workshop —and my instructor, an award-winning author, asked me to narrate her short stories Dandelion Ghosts. That became my first audiobook, and now my work can be found on Audible!

I strive to deliver dynamic, high-quality narration to every project. As an avid audiobook listener and performer, I am committed to supporting the talented humans who bring stories to life — narrators, actors, and creators alike. To continually grow my craft, I seek guidance from experienced coaches and professionals who inspire me along the way.

ACCENTS

Having grown up in California, Massachusetts, Virginia, and New York, I became something of a sponge for accents. I especially enjoy Southern voices—from a rough country twang to a smooth, refined drawl.
Brooklyn and Boston accents come naturally, since I picked up the Boston sound as a child (though teachers later tried to scrub it out of me).

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I split my time between New York and Richmond with my husband and our two cats, Kali & Z. While I studied Fine Art and Illustration, later I became a web programmer (in 1995) and designer when living in New York City.

My other current job is a hat maker, a Milliner (see the many hats reference). When living in Germany, I studied in Hamburg and London, and apprenticed before moving back to New York. There I created my own line Marine & Deerfield Hats, and worked in at hat shop. Fun Story, Madonnabought and wore one of my hats on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine!

I am also a writer! My novel, which I published under the pseudonym of LadyWarfield, Pocket of Pain- From Ballet Shoes to Combat Boots, is a coming-of-age narrative that takes place in a world of 80s popular culture, music, and fashion. The audiobook is available on Audible !

When I’m not making hats, writing, reading, or recording, you’ll probably find at the Renaissance Faire, puzzling over a jigsaw, trying to paddle board, walking the beach, playing the piano or traveling with friends. I also love cozy nights on the couch with my husband, catching up on our favorite shows. Have you seen The English, Andor, or the last season of Fargo with Jon Hamm? Incredible!
